Metro-North Rail service was backed up on the Hudson line Wednesday after police responded to a man on top of the Macombs Dam Bridge in the Bronx.
Delays started around 7:20 a.m. between Spuyten Duyvil and Grand Central.
The railroad suspended all services for about a half hour.
Officials say the man was taken down safely and brought to the hospital for evaluation.
Aside from train delays, traffic on nearby roads was also backed up.
Everything is back to normal at this time.
