At least four armed suspects were involved in multiple robberies at two Bronx gas stations Tuesday morning, police say.
According to the NYPD, four men, with two carrying firearms stormed into the Mobil gas station at the Throgs Neck Expressway at 3:10 a.m.
At least two of them pointed their guns at the employee and took both cash and over a dozen cartons of cigarettes before driving off in a black sedan.
Twenty minutes later, police say the BP gas station on Westchester Square was robbed at gunpoint with another set of four guys. They ran off with an unknown amount of cash on foot.
Although the robberies happened only 20 minutes apart, police believe they are not connected. It is unclear how much money the suspects got away with. No injures have been reported.
