The recent surge in COVID-19 cases is causing museums around
the country to close again.
The Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. announced the temporary
closure of its museums, galleries and the National Zoo beginning Monday.
The museums had just reopened in September with reduced
capacity.
Officials say they will likely remain closed through the
winter holidays.
