All right. We're checking back in on today's storm watch. We want to get straight to storm watch team. Meteorologist Alan. No. All right, Alan. So as the rain is moving through this morning, what can we expect? Yeah, it's going to be a slow go on the area roadways this morning. We saw that with Ellie live in thunderbolt 12 just a few minutes ago. And that's because we've seen quite a bit of rain, almost two inches worth actually across parts of our borough that's causing. So some of those puddles, not luckily severe flooding. That's great news because it has fallen over about a 12 to four hour stretch instead of just in a couple of hours. So take a look at our highest amount in Morris Park. So this is what was taken right along Morris Park Avenue. We're seeing almost two inches of rain down towards Pelham Bay as well. University Heights at 1.8 inches, laguardia. So right across, of course, the river we're seeing about 1.7 inches. So we could expect some more uh, flight delays this morning. Keep that in mind if you're planning to head out or have loved ones coming in. Let's take a look at the future cast here as we head into the five o'clock hour, more of the same. We're going to continue to see the rain out there into the six and seven o'clock hours as the final push moves on through. Notice again, just north of, uh, of our borough, we're already seeing the drying happening. So at 730 it'll still be a steady rain. We're still seeing the green right on top of our borough, whether you're in North Bay Chester or towards co op City and City Island, City Island, you're going to see the rain for the longest because as the storm exits from west to east, we're going to continue to see again, a couple more showers and you'll be last to finally wrap up with the rain after about 9 a.m. Notice by 930 we're done with the rain still hanging on to some clouds. But by the time we get to lunch time, it's going to be sunny. Wouldn't also want to forget the sunglasses because for the afternoon, there will be that sun glare issue with lots of sunshine out there into the afternoon and evening, just a couple of passing clouds, but we are now dry into the evening hours into the overnight hours. Again, future cats, I'm telling you it's moving, but it's not showing anything because of course, we will be clearing things on out as for wind gust, they will be picking up throughout the morning. We're going to see them approaching 25 to 30 MPH. Luckily, we avoided the worst of the wind gusts. Those were literally about 10 miles away out towards Long Island. So very lucky in terms of that, but it will still be blustery and notice the wind direction north and west. That's a cold Canadian wind that's going to be bringing down that colder feel throughout the afternoon. So Pelham Gardens, that's a 24 mile per hour gust into the lake morning this morning, throgs neck 24 mile per hour. Gusts and into the afternoon again near 30 MPH slowly but surely dying down as we head towards the afternoon and evening hours, notice they're going to be heading down below 5 to 10 MPH. So much lighter wind into tomorrow morning, but it's going to feel like pretty, pretty cold because take a look at the 10 day forecast and what you're going to see is that the lows will get down to just below freezing at 31. Even that little bit of wind left over tomorrow morning, it will feel like the twenties. So you want to bundle up tomorrow morning, breeze will actually pick up again into the afternoon. So forties will feel like thirties and then the next several days beyond, then it's just cold even colder than last week because highs they're gonna struggle to reach 40 low temperatures will be in the low thirties. So definitely look out for that once we finally clear out of this rain later on this morning again, 9 a.m. you're gonna get the green light because the rain will be wrapping on out of here. All right.
