Lumber, glass and concrete are just some of the mysterious items that turn up regularly on a Borough Park block.
Anita Parmer says she has been vocal about the problem since January 2020 when News 12 last spoke with her.
She says it appears from the type of trash found that contractors pull up in the evening and unload their trucks of anything they might have.
However, she says she has spotted household garbage such as sinks and furniture as well. She says it’s a hazard for residents who use the pathway to walk to the nearby Ninth Avenue subway station.
Parmer says it’s a blight on the neighborhood and needs to be cleaned up. She says the mess is cleaned up by the New York City Department of Sanitation but that people are still dumping trash and hopes surveillance cameras or signs will deter this kind of behavior.
