A man was found by his neighbors stabbed to death inside of his Bronx home, police say.
The discovery was made Monday inside of 2090 Morris Ave. just after 9 a.m.
Family members identified the victim as 62-year-old Calixto Palacios.
Palacios suffered stab wounds to his chest, abdomen, shoulder and arm and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family says a health home aide attempted to make contact with Palacios, who suffers from health issues.
However, when she knocked on the door, no one answered.
Police say neighbors also attempted gain entry to the apartment to find out why Palacio was not responding.
They climbed up a fire escape and observed Palacio lying on the floor of his apartment.
His family tells News 12 Palacios is originally from Honduras but lived alone in his apartment on Morris Avenue.
A medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death.
No arrests have been made.
