Family and friends have created a makeshift memorial after an 8-year-old girl was struck and killed by an SUV in front of her Flatbush home.
Police say Jadann Williams was trying to cross East 22nd Street at around 5 p.m. Wednesday when she was hit by a Toyota SUV.
People in the area immediately rushed over to try and help the girl, but it was too late. She suffered serious head trauma and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Some neighbors say drivers are constantly speeding by and are asking for a speed bump to be put in.
