Man killed in Huntington Station shooting; suspect still on the loose

A missing man was found dead in New Canaan early Tuesday morning, according to New Canaan police.

Officers say the Stamford man was reported missing late Monday night. He was last seen working in New Canaan at a house under construction.

Just after midnight Tuesday, Stamford and New Canaan police found him in a wooded area. He was pronounced dead by a paramedic on scene. 

The victim's identity has not been released. State police are working with local investigators on the case.
