Friday was the grand opening of the first-ever dog park on NYCHA property at the Castle Hill campus.

Hundreds of residents led the effort to turn the empty area into a playful spot for them and their dogs.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony also featured remarks from key stakeholders, a barbeque, raffles, and fun activities.

Both small and large dogs are welcome in the dog park.
