After receiving frantic calls, emails and texts from business owners, the Flatbush Jewish Community Coalition stepped in with its Red Zone Rise Up initiative.
The campaign aims to remind resident to shop local.
The FJCC believes a healthy business district leads to a vibrant community.
Since the start of the initiative, some business owners say they've seen an uptick in traffic.
