New Jersey residents will be taking advantage of the beautiful weather over the next few days as the summer unofficially comes to an end.
Traffic was moving pretty smoothly for Friday evening’s rush hour ahead of the Labor Day Weekend. Many were heading down to the Jersey Shore, looking forward to the long weekend filled with sunshine.
“The weather couldn’t be any better. Let me tell you. Beautiful day. Beautiful weather. Enjoy the weekend everybody,” says Phyllis Lander, of Barnegat.
But some New Jerseyans who spoke to News 12 New Jersey said they are ready for the autumn to arrive due to the cooler temperatures and fewer people in the Shore area.
