There's a new tribute to a young boy who was killed in a murder-suicide in Rockland County.

A Bronxville police sergeant shot and killed his two sons and wife before dying by suicide at the families' home in New City in December.

The father was a sergeant with the Bronxville Police Department.

His two sons who were killed were 10 and 12 years old.

One of them, Gabe Morgan, attended Felix Festa Middle School.

His classmates, friends and school leaders say he was a very special kid who was loved by many.

Since his sudden death, they have been working on a way to honor him.

"We wanted to find a way to memorialize him with all of his personalities, we wanted it to fit perfectly with who he was," says Felix Festa Middle School student Jade Bencivengo.

A greenhouse and memorial was created in the school's courtyard to do just that. It was officially unveiled Tuesday.

"It's really great to show how many people loved him and cared about him because I loved him with all my heart, but here it shows how he really made an impact," says Hailey Goldberg, student at Felix Festa Middle School.
