Over 100 K-12 students at the New York Institute for Special Education put on a grand performance for their friends and family on Thursday afternoon.
The kids sang, played instruments and showcased their love of music after an entire semester of preparation.
"All these students worked very hard every single day through the semester and before that to make everything shine and amazing," said Dr. Naum Schulman, music teacher at NYI of Special Education. "This will bring our community and audience, joy and love."
The superstars left everybody in the audeince in awe with their talent because they showed that music has no limits.
"I heard someone say once music feeds the soul, and I think it really does," said parent Martin Morris.
Many of the students told News 12 they love music and performing is something they truly enjoy.
