The New York Road Runners are honoring some of the front-line workers who have been working during the pandemic.

251ds agoThe New York Road Runners are honoring some of the front-line workers who have been working during the pandemic.
Angela Wint, a clinical medical assistant at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, has turned to running to get away from the stress of work.
"Working through the pandemic has just been, it's been a lot," Wint says. "So I'm really grateful I have the running."
She started running six years ago and has run two New York City marathons since then.
At every New York Road Runners' virtual race, they are honoring a health care hero and active runner.
Wint was recognized as their hero on the run this week.
The New York Road Runners said in part: "As a hospital worker and an active runner with NYRR and Black Girls Run in New York, we are excited to be honoring Angela as our Hero on the Run for the Virtual Ted Corbitt 15K."
Wint says she is grateful for the opportunity to be featured as a front-line hero, even though she doesn't consider herself to be one.
