423ds agoEffective today, New Yorkers ages 30 and up are now eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
At the same time, new options are opening up for older residents who still have not been able to set up an appointment.
For those older New Yorkers, a site at the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park is one of the three mass vaccination sites across the city where anyone 75 or older can now get the vaccine without an appointment.
The other two mass vaccination sites are at Citi Field in Queens and the Bathgate Contract Postal Station in Morissania in the Bronx.

Anyone 75 or older can bring one guest, and as long as they're eligible, they can also get the vaccine without an appointment.
As far as a timeframe on when eligibility will expand even more, Gov. Andrew Cuomo says anyone 16 or older can begin scheduling vaccination appointments starting on April 6.
