An investigation is underway to figure out who leaked a draft version of a Supreme Court's majority opinion that would strike down Roe v. Wade.
Chief Justice John Roberts has verified the document released is genuine but stresses it is not the final opinion. But across the country, people are not waiting for that final opinion and are reacting right now.
Voices were heard loud and clear at Barclays Center Tuesday night in protest of the nearly 100-page draft that was leaked to Politico. It appears to show a majority of justices would be prepared to uphold a Mississippi law banning most abortions after 15 weeks and ultimately overturn Roe v. Wade.
The 1973 case legalized abortions nationwide and if overturned, advocates worry it could lead to abortion bans in nearly half the states across the country. Some New Yorkers News 12 spoke to say a woman should have the right to choose.
