First full weekend of December officially upon us, but it doesn't really feel like it out there at all. Was that 60 degrees for Saturday? Really nice. Can't complain a little wet though today. Yeah, it was a little wet a couple of hours ago, but at least we got some dry conditions to kick off the weekend. That will be quickly changing by Sunday. Here's what you can expect. Waves of rain starting Saturday night into Sunday night. So that's going to be a long duration storm where we are expecting rounds of rain, steady rain with a few downpours possible. So you're gonna have to watch for some puddles ponding on area roadways. And if you live somewhere that has poor drainage, you're probably going to see some more of that localized flooding. In terms of tomorrow morning, we're starting off chilly. Temperatures near 46 degrees areas of fog will be to move into our area. It will lift and clouds will still be with us throughout the afternoon with temperatures topping out near 58 degrees muted sunshine. So not seeing that sunshine that we like to see, but at least it's going to remain dry. During the evening, it is still going to remain dry with clouds, but showers do arrive late after midnight. That's where we start to see some of that wet weather pushing through. But at least we got these unseasonably mild temperatures. Our average high 49 degrees. We're not going to see the forties until the midweek. And that's also where we start to see there. I say some festive flakes returning back to our area. But in the meantime, let's just enjoy the dry weather. So some clouds and fog to start our Saturday, it is going to remain dry throughout the day. Temperatures will be topping out near 58 degrees and we got some rain.

New Yorkers head outside to enjoy the summerlike conditions

People who are really enjoying the weather. Ellie. How is it? Yeah, Allen. What a treat. It's like a nice little breeze out here. We've seen a couple of people walk by with just smiles on their faces. No sweaters here today. Some kids across the street laughing, playing and it's just a really nice day to get out. But you don't want to forget that sunscreen. Make sure you put that sunscreen on before you head out the door because we're seeing a U V index of an eight today, which means that you could easily burn within like 30 minutes of being outside. So if you're prone to sun burn like me, you definitely don't want to forget that sunscreen before you head out the door. Also, you might want to hold off on that little afternoon jog until later today because it is going to be hot. So you do want to hydrate, make sure you're drinking that water and you're taking care of yourself before heading out the door. We've been waiting for really nice weather like this, but we also want to make sure that we're cautious in taking the right safety measures. But I actually caught up with the resident who even tells me it already feels like summer. Let's hear it. I feel this. We already in some already. I can't ask for no more than what I'm asking for right now. This is, this is fabulous. God has blessed everybody. Definitely a blessing. I can agree. It definitely does feel like summer and it feels so good. But again, if you're heading out the door, make sure you're drinking your water, make sure you got that sunscreen because you're going to need it. We're in Wakefield.
