New Yorkers head to the polls for early voting in Democratic primary

The deadline to register to vote or request a ballot by mail is today. Early voting runs until Sunday, June 23. Primary day is Tuesday, June 25.

New Yorkers are heading to early voting polling sites across the state for the Democratic primaries on June 23.

Among the most watched races are Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s race against Martin Dolan, a retired insurance agent and her first primary challenger since 2020.

Also, Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s race against Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

News 12’s Lindsay Tanney was at Villa Maria Academy on Country Club Road in the Bronx where she spoke with some voters.
