Over 500 New Yorkers working with the New York City Test and Trace Corps showed up at the Atlantic Center Mall Wednesday to stock up on personal protective equipment.
Hundreds of members picked up everything from hand sanitizer to face shields.
They say this is all to protect themselves while they are out in the field working and also giving it out to people most in need.
On top of PPE, the Test and Trace Corps is also partnering with the city's public libraries by donating free children’s books to parents with kids up to age 10.
As 3,500 Test and Trace workers continue working day in and day out, they say the key is not to let your guard down against the coronavirus.
