Creators in Newark are getting some help bucking the label of "struggling artist" thanks to new funding from the city.
Artists who reside in Newark, and whose livelihoods were impacted by the pandemic, are now encouraged to apply via the link
Made possible via funding from the New Jersey Arts and Culture Renewal Fund, the mini-grants will total $1,500.
Applications are being accepted now until Nov. 17 at 11:59 p.m.
