yesterdayThe murder trial of the couple accused of killing 8-year-old Thomas Valva could be delayed, according to Newsday.
Newsday reports that the proceedings against Michael Valva and his ex-fiancée Angela Pollina may not start until January because of COVID-19 concerns.
A ruling on the matter should come in less than two weeks.
Valva and Pollina are charged with murder.
Prosecutors say Thomas Valva died of hypothermia after being forced to sleep in a freezing garage last year.
