NICE Bus launches new pilot service for on-demand south shore residents
The ‘Mini Mile Service’ will be offered in East Meadow, North Merrick, North Bellmore and Bellmore on weekdays.

NICE Bus officially launched a new pilot service on Monday.
The Nassau Inter-County Express now includes an option called the “Mini Mile Service” for on-demand pickups on the South Shore.
According to officials, the service will be offered in East Meadow, North Merrick, North Bellmore and Bellmore.
The service will also run on a fixed route from Hempstead Turnpike down to the Bellmore Long Island Railroad station.
Residents can access the new service through the NICE mini app on weekdays between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. It costs $3 per trip, but commuters can ride free through Halloween.
