Police found a car submerged in the water at Throgs Neck Sunday, with the body of a missing New Jersey man trapped inside.
Police say they discovered a maroon 1993 Toyota Camry in the water next to the Locust Point Yacht Club. They say the body of 75-year-old Chengyick Chang , a Norwood, NJ man whose family reported him missing Friday, was inside. Police tracked Chang, a diabetic who recently underwent stomach surgery with mixed results, using his EZ Pass, which last located him at the George Washington Bridge on Friday night.
According to police, the Locust Point Yacht Club can only be accessed by a key, which Chang did not possess. They say how Chang gained entrance to the marina could play a role in their investigation.
