The NKONI Cultural Festival made its debut on Sunday in Soundview Park.
The festival was designed to celebrate the customs and traditions of West Africa.
Community members were able to immerse themselves in the multifaceted cultural enrichment experience.
This included traditional African dances, music performances and cuisines.
“We want people to discover Cameroon and Africa without having to travel. So, we brought the local foods, music and art here, so people can stay connected to their roots,” said a festival organizer.
