Nonprofit Autism Speaks hosts outdoor event during World Autism Month

The staff at the nonprofit Autism Speaks hosted a walk in the first weekend of April.
The event in Brooklyn was done to bring awareness to April being World Autism Month.
A recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report shows evidence that more people are getting screened for autism.
Autism Speaks is working with other organizations to ensure that both children and adults who are on the spectrum are getting the help they need.
