As so many people are hurting through these trying times, high-end restaurants are cooking up meals for the vulnerable populations in the city.

Volunteers of America - Greater New York and Feed the Frontlines NYC have now teamed up with 15 other restaurants across the city and shifted their focus on feeding wholesome meals to the most vulnerable.

It's not only helping those they are feeding, but the staff on the other side of the meal is also benefiting. Participating restaurants say they were able to bring back employees to help produce the meals.

Organizers say the best part of the program is that it is completely free.
