The nonprofit organization ‘Save Our Streets’ rallied in response to the death of a 25-year-old mother of three who was fatally shot last week.
The family of Priscilla Vasquez was seen holding each other and in tears as each person spoke Friday night on East 152nd Street, the same spot where she was killed.
Surveillance video of the incident shows a man running down the block with a gun in his hand at around 5:20 a.m. Saturday morning and police say he fired at least four shots.
Police say they found Vasquez with a gunshot wound to her head.
Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark wants the person who did it to come forward or for the community to say something.
No arrests have been made at this time.
