The directors of a local nonprofit drug treatment facility are in trouble with the law again.
The father and son executives of Narco Freedom, along with several others, were walked out of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx Wednesday morning. Alan Brand and his two sons, Jason and Jonathan Brand, CEO Gerald Betha, Richard Gross and John Corachio face an enterprise corruption charge along with grand larceny in the second degree.
As News 12 reported back in October, Alan and Jason Brand were charged with insurance fraud and kickback schemes related to their nonprofit organization.
All pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday and were released on bonds ranging from $50,000 to $325,000.
Jason and Alan Brand were reportedly already scheduled to appear in court this Friday for October's charges.
All of the suspects are now due back in court on May 20.
Narco Freedom operates several facilities in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens.
