Northeast Bronx community members will have a new place to spend time once the
YMCA opens Sept. 7.
News 12’s Noelle Lilley got an early
look at the facility’s upgrade. It was slated to
open last year but was delayed due to the pandemic.
The Northeast location is one of two new YMCA locations opening in the borough.
Community members can use a swimming pool, sauna, basketball courts, a full gym
and more.
Membership is $56 per month with financial support available for those in need.
