New York is ending its COVID-19 mask mandate for health care facilities beginning Monday.
The mandate has covered staff, patients and visitors in hospitals, nursing homes and other medical facilities regardless of vaccination status.
The state is now telling medical facilities to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control Prevention, and develop their own mask-wearing rules.
