New York City residents lined up in Prospect Heights waiting to get coronavirus tests as infections continue to rise throughout the state.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has warned residents that New York City will more than likely turn into an orange zone, meaning that indoor dining, gyms and other nonessential businesses will close.

Some hope may be available for those who do contact the coronavirus as the FDA has approved emergency use authorization for two lab-made antibodies to be used together to treat mild to moderate cases of the disease in high-risk adults and pediatric patients 12 and older.

The FDA says the antibodies are made to mimic the immune system's ability to fight off viruses, and was specifically directed against the spike proteins on the coronavirus. This blocks it from attaching and going onto human cells.

The Center for Disease Control is still advising Americans to postpone travel and stay home as the holidays approach.

The TSA, however, says it screened just under a million people traveling around the country on Saturday.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo and de Blasio say they hope New York residents will stay home and give thanks virtually.
