Catholic churches across New York City are returning to 100% capacity today for the first time since the pandemic started.

Catholic churches across New York City are returning to 100% capacity today for the first time since the pandemic started.
The Our Lady of Angels church in Bay Ridge is welcoming parishioners without many of the COVID restrictions they were operating with.
Bishop DiMarzio of the Brooklyn Diocese announces guidelines for how churches will operate since they are fully open.
He says choirs with vaccinated members can operate normally, no rope is needed between occupied rows and lectors can rain from the main pulpit.
They are still following safety guidelines like social distancing and masks for those who are not vaccinated. People are still being told to regularly wash their hands or use hand sanitizer.
Churches were forced to close entire in March, where they offered virtual services, before being allowed to welcome a limited numbers of parishioners months later.
