Doctors will soon be able to vaccinate their own patients in New York City.
Seventy-five offices across the five boroughs will be able to vaccinate New Yorkers.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announce the vaccine effort as partnership with SOMOS Community Care to get underserved residents vaccinated City data illustrates that Black and Latino New Yorkers are not being vaccinated at the same rate as white residents.
The new program will allow communities to get vaccinated from health care professionals that they already trust and have a relationship with.
The program will cover 75 medical practices in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens.
New Yorkers can register for the program through SOMOS.
