Doctors will soon be able to vaccinate their own patients in New York
City.
Seventy-five offices across the five boroughs will be able to vaccinate New
Yorkers.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announce the vaccine effort as partnership with SOMOS Community
Care to get underserved residents vaccinated
City data illustrates that Black and Latino New Yorkers are not being
vaccinated at the same rate as white residents.
The new program will allow communities to get vaccinated from health care
professionals that they already trust and have a relationship with.
The program will cover 75 medical practices in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan
and Queens.
New Yorkers can register for the program through SOMOS.
