The St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year across New York City, and members of the marching bands at two Bronx schools are preparing to be a part of it.
The soundtrack to this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade will in part be provided by the marching bands from Cardinal Spellman and Cardinal Hayes high schools. The students are excited to represent their respective schools in the parade.
Due to the pandemic, the last two parades have not featured these marching bands. For many of the students from these schools marching, it'll be a first to be in front of this crowd in Manhattan on Thursday.
New York City's St. Patrick's Day Parade is the oldest and largest in the western hemisphere. It's expected the marching bands will be performing in front of millions on Thursday.
