Any New Yorker will let you know just how stressful it can be to use the Port Authority Bus Terminal - but it could be seeing some changes.
The Port Authority released plans to replace the terminal. Unfortunately, those plans come with a $10 billion price tag and wouldn't be completed until 2032.
The current blueprint would make the terminal brighter and larger, while also providing direct ramps to the Lincoln Tunnel. They say a temporary facility would be used near the existing terminal during construction.
Now, the Port Authority is holding public hearings where New Yorkers can weigh in on the future of the bus terminal.
