There’s a new plan that New York City is rolling out to stop thieves from stealing packages off of your doorstep.

Lockers for packages can be found across the city in the coming months as part of a free pilot program called LockerNYC. The program is a partnership between Mayor Eric Adams, Department of Transportation Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez and LockerNYC.

When you order online, you now have the option to send or receive your packages to one of those lockers. They’re free and available 24/7.

The program is available for the year in 15 different locations across NYC.
