NYCEM advises neighbors to report unsafe conditions caused from snow melt after blizzard
NYCEM said neighbors can report any hazardous conditions they experience as part of the aftermath of the blizzard to 311.

Several neighborhoods experienced more than 17 inches of snow after the blizzard on Monday.
The New York City Emergency Management Department told News 12 community members can experience snow melt over the next few days that can lead to hazardous conditions.
"It's going to take a couple of days for us to get everything totally back to normal," said Assistant Commissioner of External Affair, Ira Tannebaum.
In Kingsbridge, neighbors were forced to get creative with how they navigated through the streets on Wednesday.
One father carried a stroller through a path filled with slush and frozen ice. A scooter driver got stuck in the snow still left over on a sidewalk.
"It is, still a little icy, so, like, you just got to, wobble like a penguin," said one resident, Kevin Vergara.
Meanwhile, Doris a street vendor outside of the Kingsbridge Armory spent more than five hours using her shovel to clear the sidewalk of the snow.
"The city cleared one part but it's not enough so it's up to me to clean up the street," she said.
NYCEM advised neighbors experiencing difficulty walking through their neighborhoods or seeing uncleaned public spaces to contact 311.
