NYCHA has completed more than $24.1 million in safety and security upgrades at 23 campuses across the city, officials say.
The upgrades included quality of life improvements for over 46,000 residents including the Farragut, Hughes, Kingsborough and Pink Houses in Brooklyn.
More than 1,000 newly installed security cameras, enhanced exterior lighting, entrance renovations, a resident verification process that controls building entry and more were also implemented.
