The NYPD says one person was killed and four others were injured Saturday in a shooting at Coney Island.

Police say it happened just before midnight at Riegelmann Boardwalk and West 29th Street.

They say the victim who died was shot in the back, while the four survivors were all hit in the legs or feet. The other victims were treated at the hospital and are expected to be OK.

Ana Rojas, a nearby resident, told News 12 she was in a deep sleep when she heard the shots ring out.

“I didn't get up because I was scared, but I heard from the window screaming, and then the shots…then the police and everybody came," she said.

Police say no arrests have been made yet as the investigation continues.
