NYPD: 1 man killed, 1 injured in Concourse Village shooting

Gunfire went off after 9:30 p.m. on Sheridan Avenue and McClellan Street, according to authorities.

Mott Haven Man Killed in Concourse Village shooting Saturday night

Police say a Mott Haven man was killed and another was injured during a shooting in Concourse Village Saturday night.

Police say 31-year-old Sakou Saho was shot multiple times in the torso and later died at the hospital.

The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. near Sheridan Avenue and McClellan Street, possibly during a party, according to police.

A 49-year-old man was also hurt, suffering a graze wound to the stomach.

He is expected to survive.

Saturday's shooting was the fourth deadly shooting in the Bronx in five days.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
