NYPD: 1 dead, 1 in custody after double shooting on Southern Boulevard

The NYPD says one of two people who were shot at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Westchester Avenue has died.
Police say the victim in the fatal shooting is an 18-year-old male. The other victim, a 38-year-old male, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
One person is now in police custody, according to law enforcement.
The incident took place just before 4 p.m.
