NYPD: 12-year-old dog snatched from owner during mugging in East Williamsburg
They say that the dog owner was approached by three unknown people, and one of the individuals tackled him into a fire hydrant causing slashes in his back, right knee and left arm. They then demanded money from the victim and when he said he didn't have any, the individuals forcibly removed his dog.
