NYPD: 2 police officers injured in Brooklyn subway station attack

Two NYPD officers were injured after an attack in the Myrtle Ave subway station in Brooklyn, police say.

Two NYPD officers were injured after an attack in the Myrtle Ave subway station in Brooklyn, police say. 
According to police, officers responded to a 911 call about an emotionally disturbed person. Police say when they arrived, the suspect ran into the train station after a police pursuit. 
That is when police say the individual slashed one officer in the ear and injured another. Both officers were taken to area hospitals in stable condition.
The suspect was taken into custody and brought to Woodhull Hospital.
