NYPD: 2 wanted in gunpoint robbery in Morris Heights

According to the NYPD, a 31-year-old man got into a car he believed to be a for-hire livery vehicle near West Tremont Avenue and Jerome Avenue.

Police say two men are wanted in connection to robbing 31-year-old man in Morris Heights on May 20.
According to the NYPD, a 31-year-old man got into a car he believed to be a for-hire livery vehicle near West Tremont Avenue and Jerome Avenue. Once he got inside, two men took out a gun and forcibly removed his wallet, credit cards, cellphone and $500.
The suspects took off near East 161st Street. Anyone who recognizes the suspects are asked to contact police.
