The NYPD says a mother and her 13-year-old daughter were shot near 1461 Southern Blvd., which is just a few blocks away from where a woman was shot while walking her dog. It's unclear if these two shootings ae connected.
At around 8:45 p.m., a 22-year-old woman was walking her dog when she was shot in the leg near the corner of Bristow Street and Jennings Street.
The mother and daughter were shot at around 8:50 p.m., police say. The teenager was hit in the hand and the mother's chest was grazed by bullets.
Both of those women and the young girl were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
