A 20-year-old man was fatally shot at a deli on Bronxwood Avenue on Thursday, according to police.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

The family of the victim identified the man as 20-year-old Sorai King.

“We want justice for my nephew. He was only 20 years old he did not deserve this," said King's aunt.

Police say King was shot in the neck and chest. Surveillance footage shows him being wheeled out of the deli on a stretcher into the ambulance. He was then brought to Jacobi Hospital where he died.

Further surveillance video shows the suspect running from the deli, before turning back and re-entering the store. He then exits for the second time running back up East 217th Street.
