The NYPD says a man was fatally shot in the Bronx.

They say it happened at 1898 Belmont Ave.

Officials say the man was shot one time in the head, and he has now been identified as Mario Junior Guerrero.

Sources say he was shot in front of his home and his family tells News 12 that it is a major loss.

News 12 spoke to his uncle who says Guerrero was a quiet man who worked construction and kept to himself.
