One man is dead and two others are in critical condition following two separate shootings that happened just minutes apart.

At Givan and Palmer avenues, a 27-year-old man was found unconscious inside a gray Infiniti around 2 a.m. with three gunshot wounds to the chest.

Police said the man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Police sources told News 12 that the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a road rage incident.

They do not believe the shooting occurred at the intersection where the car was found. Police believe the victim was trying to flee the shooter when he crashed into a parked Nissan. It is unclear if anyone else was inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

On Dyre Avenue, two men were shot late Friday night. Both are hospitalized in critical condition, according to police.

Both incidents are being actively investigated. There have been no arrests.
