A 28-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday night in West Farms, according to authorities.
Police say they responded to a 911 call at 1295 Rodman Place and found the man shot in the face and chest.
He was taken to Saint Barnabas hospital, where he later died.
A trail of blood could be seen outside of the West Farms apartment building on Sunday morning.
City data shows there have been over 400 shooting incidents in the Bronx this year, which is about 40 more compared to December of 2023.
Police say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
