Police say a man was fatally shot early this morning in Mott Haven.
The shooting happened on Morris Avenue, around the corner from the 40th Precinct Police Station.
Police responded to a 911 call around 4 a.m. and found a 29-year-old man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released and there is no word yet on any suspects.
